Nice walk at lower elevations, but nasty driving rain and sleet on the summits, not many stops today, and not much in the way of views due to the weather.
Some tricky walking on the final ascent to Ben Lawers with hard packed snow and ice in places.
Quite a few people out today, most seemed to be opting for the two munros, weather a bit nasty for the full traverse today.
On the valley walk on the way back to the car I slipped on a flat rock and was like a beached whale trying to get up as I was over two rocks, think I gave Ailidh a scare. No injuries or bruises, but a gentle reminder to give all rocks due care and attention!
Winter closing in, suspect this might be out last for the year, we don't have the kit for full winter walking.
